As a Marketing Executive at #ABtalks, you will lead the creative growth and visibility of the brand’s merchandise line — from card games to apparel and future products. This role blends marketing strategy, product positioning, and creative execution to expand reach, drive sales, and strengthen #ABtalks’ connection with its audience. You’ll be responsible for turning ideas into impactful campaigns, building collaborations, and keeping merchandise fresh, relevant, and aligned with the brand’s values.
What You’ll Do:
- Marketing & Campaigns
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that position #ABtalks merchandise as a core part of the brand experience.
- Create bold, innovative campaigns and collaborations that set merchandise apart in the market.
- Plan seasonal/limited drops and update existing product lines (e.g., refreshing t-shirts, new editions of the card game).
- Manage social media presence for merch, especially TikTok, with a focus on community and engagement.
- Marketing Strategy & Development
- Ensure marketing design of merchandise, quality, and packaging meet #ABtalks’ creative and brand standards.
- Work closely with the design team to develop new concepts, seasonal collections, and product updates.
- Position the card game and other products as unique, meaningful offerings that reflect the values of #ABtalks.
- Partnerships & Collaborations
- Identify and propose strategic partnerships, activations, or collaborations — whether small or bold, mainstream or unconventional — that can expand merch visibility and drive sales.
- Develop and pitch creative proposals for opportunities that align with the brand.
- E-commerce & Shopify
- Manage and update the #ABtalks Shopify website with support from the design team (product pages, banners, visuals).
- Track sales and customer insights to improve strategies.
- Implement offers, bundles, or promotions to increase online sales.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track and report on key KPIs: revenue growth, campaign engagement, partnership outcomes, and inventory status.
- Share weekly updates and insights with the Creative Manager.
- Use customer feedback and market research to refine merchandise strategy.
- Collaboration & Oversight
- Work closely with design, social media, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of launches.
- Oversee interns supporting content creation or activations.
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years’ experience in marketing, merchandising, or brand growth roles.
- Strong creativity, with proven ability to develop campaigns or ideas that stand out.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, content strategy, and social platforms (especially TikTok/Instagram).
- Basic knowledge of Shopify (updating products, tracking sales, reports).
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination, pitching, and reporting.
- Analytical mindset to track results and refine strategies.
