Since 8 years, #ABtalks has offered honest, unfiltered conversations. Hosted by Anas Bukhash, it is one of the most-watched interview shows in the Arab world, with world-class athletes, CEOs, artists and cultural icons sharing the stories that shaped them.
With tens of millions of views across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, the show has built a loyal audience across the globe. Now we are giving that community a place to go further.
#ABtalks+ is our new membership: a space for the #ABtalks community to go further, with exclusive content and a community of like-minded people.
You will join at the very beginning of the project, build things from scratch, and see the direct impact of your work on real members.
About the role
You will be the guardian of the member experience. From the moment someone joins #ABtalks+, you make sure they feel welcome, know where to go, and want to stay.
You will run our Discord community day to day, bring it to life with content and conversations, and share #ABtalks+ on social media. Over time, your goal is a community that lives on its own, driven by its members.
What you will be doing
1. Member experience
• Own the member journey: welcome, onboarding, first steps on the platform and in the community • Answer member questions and messages with care, in the #ABtalks voice
• Spot friction points (access issues, confusion, bugs) and report them to the team • Collect feedback through surveys and conversations, analyse it, and share clear insights with the team • Suggest ideas to improve the member experience, and fix friction points once they are identified
2. Discord management
• Set up and maintain the server structure: channels, roles, rules, bots
• Moderate conversations and keep the space safe and respectful
• Flag sensitive or urgent situations to the team right away
• Track activity and engagement, and suggest improvements
3. Community animation
• Keep the community active with regular conversations and prompts
• Prepare and host community moments and events
• Highlight members so people feel seen
• Encourage members to start conversations themselves
4. Social media and content
• Publish #ABtalks+ content on social media (stories, reels, posts), adapted to each platform • Write captions, posts and community messages in English and Arabic
• Create simple content for the community: posts, announcements, visuals
• Help proofread Arabic content when needed
• Stay on top of trends and benchmark other communities and memberships

What we are looking for
• Studying or recently graduated in Communications, Marketing, Media or a related field • Real interest in online communities
• Good knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Discord
• Warm, patient and people-oriented, with strong instincts for tone and empathy • Organised and reliable, able to handle many conversations without losing quality • Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive member interactions
• Basic content skills (Canva or similar, simple video edits)
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken) — a must
Nice to have
• Experience with Discord, or running or moderating an online community (paid or free) • Basic knowledge of community analytics and survey tools
• Familiarity with #ABtalks
